		<description>&lt;p&gt;That does make it more difficult for humans to pick a start player in a 11+ player party game.  I guess we could count toes for adding 5-sums to the finger count (it being difficult to stick out subsets of toes), but I really don&#039;t want the people I play with taking their socks off to verify that aspect!&lt;/p&gt;

It is sufficient to tell each player that whatever number of fingers he/she sticks out, it will be considered modulo #_players -1. As a nice side effect, the system is now robust to alien races with more then 10 fingers ;)&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;You are quite correct.  I wrote sloppily and have (now) corrected the original text.  In practice this does not seem to be a problem (here) as players natively tend to limit their finger count to the player count without prompting.&lt;/p&gt;
